TAYLOR Joyce Aged 94 of Barrow passed away peacefully in the kind care of the staff at Risedale at Lonsdale Nursing Home on 30th March 2024. Joyce was very much loved by her many family and friends. A treasured aunt to Tony, Willie, Ali, John, Janet, Roy, Peter and Derek, and two more generations of nephews and nieces and their partners, Joyce brought laughter and fun to all who knew her, including her wide circle of friends with whom over the years she went to Barrow Grammar School, taught at Dowdales, played hockey, bowled, enjoyed Scottish country dancing and walking with the Ramblers. Everyone who knew Joyce is most welcome to attend a service to celebrate her life on Friday 26th April at 1p.m. at Thorncliffe Crematorium, Barrow. The service will be livestreamed for those who cannot come. It is requested family flowers only, but donations can be made to the RNLI and St Mary's Hospice.
