I HAD the honour, on November 24, of being a guest of Nerissa Nicholas at the Millom Amateur Dramatic Society Lest We Forget show in Millom School.
It was truly a great show with a super cast of actors, singers, dancers and not forgetting the well drilled young children involved.
The sound effects and scenery changes were very appropriate for the programme and the popular songs from both wars had me singing lustily with them.
Truly MADS is much blessed with talent and the committee must have worked hard to get the right balance of remembrance with some lighter moments for all to work so smoothly.
It was a pleasure to meet Nerissa and various others and then to the close of the show with the Royal British Legion standard bearers.
