COURT: South Cumbria Magistrates' in Barrow
A MAN who denied drink driving while riding a moped on Walney has been banned from the road for 21 months.
Stephen Wharton, 47, of Rydal Close, Dalton, had 76 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood when he was stopped on Tyne Road on October 3.
He was told to pay £620 court costs, a £180 fine and a £30 victim surcharge.
