TWO tributes in one night is the idea behind The Lynne and McCartney Story, a brand new show featuring the songs of ELO, The Beatles, solo Beatles, Tom Petty, Wilburys, the Move and the symphonic pop that the two icons of Jeff Lynne and Paul McCartney have been involved with.

ELO Beatles Beyond are no ordinary tribute band. Fronted by top Jeff Lynne and Paul McCartney sound-alikes, the band prides itself on performing the greatest hits of ELO, The Beatles, Wings and more as they were intended to sound. The theatre show, takes the audience on a journey behind some of the greatest hits of all time, and how the careers of the two songwriting giants have crossed over the years.

Paul McCartney and Jeff Lynne are both still performing at the top of their game in their seventies. The Beatles are, without question, one of the most popular and influential band's to have ever existed.

Jeff Lynne was a little younger than the Beatles and in awe of them. He was also a big fan of Roy Orbison. Roy was a little older than The Beatles and was quite an influence of the four lads from Liverpool.

The Beatles supported Roy on a UK tour. Apparently, they were so popular, that the bill was flipped to have The Beatles on last to appease the attendant audiences.

ELO Beatles Beyond bring their The Lynne and McCartney Story show to the Beggar's Theatre at Millom on February 2.
