A BARROW man who denies assaulting a police officer in Barrow is due to appear in court later this week.
Anthony Hogg, of Park Road, has pleaded not guilty to assault by beating of an emergency worker, PC Sutherland, during an alleged incident in Barrow on November 14.
Mr Hogg, 42, also denies obstructing/resisting PC Sutherland and also assaulting two other people.
He denied the offences when he appeared on November 16 and is set to appear at South Cumbria Magistrates Court, Barrow, on Thursday.
