TWO people who stole several bottles of alcohol from a shop in Ulverston have appeared in court.
Denise Brill-Edwards and Stephen Thornley, both of North Lonsdale Road, admitted stealing £80 worth of bottles, including Tia Maria, Bells Whisky, Haig Whisky and Smirnoff Vodka, from the Co-op on Market Street on October 3.
Brill-Edwards, 42, and Thornley, 56, were both fined £60and told to pay £37.50 compensation and a £30 victim surcharge.
