TWO people suffered from smoke inhalation after a fire in a kitchen.
Shortly after 5pm yesterday (Feb 19), fire crews from Barrow and Ulverston attended a building fire on Ramsey Park, Barrow.
On arrival crews found a fire in the kitchen of a ground floor flat and two casualties suffering smoke inhalation.
Crews used two breathing apparatus, one extinguisher, one hose reel jet and a positive pressure ventilation unit to put the fire out.
Crews were there for around forty-five minutes
