A major hospitality show will shear from the next generation of family businesses at a special seminar, hosted by Sue Howorth.

Yasmine Hunter, of Grasmere Gingerbread and Izzy Whitehead, of Hawkshead Relish, are ambassadors of the Next Generation Network and will be speaking at an event at the North West Business and Hospitality Show at the J36 Auction Centre next Thursday, February 28.

The network was officially launched in October by Mrs Howorth, founder of The Family Business Network and aims to help family businesses prepare for the future and address the challenges faced by the “new and current next generation” of family business owners.

Mrs Howorth said: “It’s really exciting and inspirational to be in a position to be able to help shape, support and build on the needs of future generations of family businesses."

The Next Generation Network seminar will see topical discussions hosted by Sue Howorth, along with a question-and-answer session with the ambassadors

Topics will include career and personal development planning, the effects of family dynamics within the business and at home and management of wealth transition in the business.
