The Theatre Factory will be holding two free taster sessions for school children in April.
The first free session will be on Tuesday for children in secondary school and will be held in the Cookes Building, on Abbey Road, from between 6pm to 8pm.
The second free session will take place in the same venue on Tuesday 23rd April from between 5pm to 7pm and will be aimed at children in junior school.
The directors of the youth theatre are Phill Gregg and Karen Hall.
Ms Hall said: "If the children enjoy the session they have the option of joining our weekly theatre group.
"At Theatre Factory we play games, make story-lines and create shows from our members own ideas.
"We have recently performed our play 'Mr Deans Marvellous Trip' at the Forum and we will begin working on our next production after the taster sessions."
