THE most recent earthquake recorded around the British Isles has been felt in Ulverston.

According to information provided by the British Geographical Survey an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.1 was recorded in Silecroft at 11.20am on Saturday April 13 and was felt as far as Ulverston.

On their website it states all the earthquakes that have taken place around the British Isles in the last 100 days.
