INVESTIGATIONS are under way after a cyclist in Barrow was knocked off his bike by a car and then assaulted.
Police are investigating an assault which took place after a man was knocked off his bike near the Tally Ho pub on Schneider Road by a Vauxhall Meriva at around 7.15pm yesterday (April 15).
Police said after the cyclist was knocked off his bike the vehicle subsequently stopped and following an altercation between the passenger of the car and the cyclist, the cyclist received a broken nose.
The passenger is described as male, white, 6ft, medium build, around 30 years old with black hair.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information in relation to the incident to contact police on 101 quoting log number 243 of April 15.
