Wedding bells will chime in Portugal while Askam are vying for a place in the National Conference League Division Two play-off final against Wigan St Judes tomorrow..

Victory at Fallowfield Park will take them to within 80 minutes of a place in Division One.

However, the big day overseas is for the Tyson family where Mark is getting married. He is joined by brother Kristian, dad and assistant coach Tammy, Russ Bolton and Adam Jackson.

And with pack leader Tom Hopkins also out, it is a big ask for the Villagers.

“It will be a massive loss for us those lads being away, but you have to get on with it,” said coach Dave Clark. “I will bring in lads that are capable of doing the job and it is everything to play for.

“We got through to the game with Judes with a win over Leigh East in a high-scoring game, we played great in the first half scoring some very good tries but eased off in the second, but we had done enough to win.

“It is our aim to keep the momentum going tomorrow and, hopefully, we will have a big crowd behind us.”

Also looking to gain promotion are Millom who host to Clock Face in the Division Three play-off final and player-coach Tom Sibley has almost a full strength squad to choose from

“We know we will be in for a tough 80 minutes, said Sibley. “Clock Face are a big, robust side as we know when we drew 18-18 at their place recently.

“We had a very good win over Eastmoor last week we played really good rugby once we got on a roll Eastmoor couldn’t handle us

Our speed was good and we could have had more points as we bombed a few opportunities but overall the lads were good.”

Sibley is looking for Jonathan Hodgson and Hanley Dawson to lead the way, with Tyler Lancaster added to last week’s squad, but Nial Harris is doubtful with an ankle injury.

Ulverston and Walney travel to Latchford as both clubs aim to lift the respective Top Four play-off trophies.

Ulverston take on Wigan St Cuthberts A in Division Two at 11amwhile, Cents play champions Rochdale Mayfield A in Division One at 1pm.

Marc Saunders is doubtful for Ulverston with a break to the thumb and Dan Akred is ruled out, but Will Coles and Rowan Smedley are both welcomed back into the fold..

Adam Nicholson and Jamie Ralph are back to boost the Cents, who are without Jamie Morrow and action man Jordan Staffieri.

All clubs are requested to ring Peter Wilson on 471316 with results and scorers ASAP tomorrow.
