BLAIN Marwood and Ethan Kelly are both in the running for an award after being nominated for the National Conference League Division Three player of the year accolade.
Full-back Marwood played an important role in helping Barrow Island achieve automatic promotion to Division Two, while Millom prop Kelly was one of those who was instrumental in the Devonshire Road club’s run to the play-off final.
Lewis Poskitt, of champions Beverley, is the other player nominated and the winners will be announced at the end-of-season awards dinner in Bradford on October 27.
