CROFTLANDS Park are still top of the Furness Premier League Premier Division after a 9-2 win over Walney Island reserves.

Chris Wraighte (2), Charlie Segger (2), Matt Dean, Tom Pavett, Josh Atkinson, Martin Grundy and Maca Dixon were all on target for Croftlands and Kane Moffett scored both for Walney.

Haverigg United beat Hawcoat Park reserves 2-1. John Chmiel scored both Haverigg goals, Carl Pearson replied for the hosts

Bootle put seven past basement side Dalton United reserves. Andrew Knowles (2) Josh French, Aaron Bradley an own goal and a goal on debut for Kyle Evans made up Bootle’s tally. Jordan Fisher got Dalton’s consolation.

Kirkby United are up to second following a 4-1 win at Swarthmoor Social, with Paul Cleasby, Rob Fugler, Conner Saunders, and Sam Pinnegor the Kirkby scorers.

Barrow Celtic beat Britannia 5-3 with Rob Johnson (3) Kurt Lord and Zak Parker scoring. Charlie Shaw, Sam Woods and Mark Heseltine kept the Brit in touching distance.

Holker Old Boys reserves lost 2-1 at home to Millom Res. David Cook scored a penalty for Holker, but Aaron Giles and Joel Barker secured the points for Millom.

Several of last season’s under-16s were the stars of the show for Vickerstown reserves as they beat Furness Cavaliers reserves 8-1. Tom Dawson (3) Max Green (2) Jack Litherland, Brody Luxon and Kodi Hammond were the scorers and James Hutton replied in vain for Cavaliers, who themselves had two 16 year olds, Hayden Chapman-Taylor and Ethan Broadfoot, who had excellent games.
