KIRKBY United stayed top of the Furness Premier League Premier Division after a resounding 14-0 win away at Furness Cavaliers reserves.

Matty Bruce, Sam Pinnegor and Huw Barton all grabbed hat-tricks, Connor Saunders helped himself to a brace, and Mike Fugler, Joe Kavanagh and Scott Watkinson were also on target.

Second-placed Bootle picked up three points too after a 3-2 win against Swarthmoor Social, but hey were made to work for it as Swarthmoor were 2-0 up thanks to a double from Luke Armstrong.

Steve Pritt, Graham Hartley and and Connor Nuttall secured the points after Swarthmoor also missed a penalty.

Martin Clarke scored a hat-trick for Britannia, but it was in vain as they lost 6-3 at home to Croftlands Park. Chris Wraighte (2), Mike Webster, Tom Pavett, Ryan Ireland and Ben Mooney were all on target for Croftlands.

Hawcoat Park reserves’ trip to Haverigg United finished in a 1-1 draw. Carl Mackay was on target for Hawcoat and Anthony Foster was the Haverigg scorer.

Barrow Celtic put Holker reserves to the sword 6-0, with Rob Johnson taking the match ball home following his thee goals. Zak Parker, Alex Hall and Hugh McParland also scored.

In the Walney derby, Vickerstown reserves beat Walney reserves 3-0 thanks to Mike Imison (2) and Brody Luxon.

Dalton United reserves came out 2-1 winners at home to Millom reserves thanks to George Akred and Fraser Shand. Andrew Woodburn got Millom’s consolation.

Barrow Wanderers start 2019 top of Division One table after a 4-0 win away at Millom A.

Scott McDonald (2), Sam Johnson and Craig McIlvogue were the Wanderers marksmen.

Bridge United scored a 5-0 win over Furness Rovers reserves thanks to Reece Craig (2), Josh Harris (2) and Sam Davies.

Croftlands Park reserves ran out 6-1 winners over Barrow Celtic reserves thanks to goals from Charlie Segger (2), Josh Hudson (2), Tom Smith and Jamie Howell.

Crooklands Casuals reserves edged out Askam United reserves 4-3, with their goals coming from Terry Anderson (2), Joe Braund Smith and Corey Gilliland.

A Matthew Hackett goal earned Hawcoat Park A a 1-0 win at Swarthmoor Social reserves.

Kirkby United reserves are mirroring the first team by sitting top of Division Two, leading on goal difference after a 4-0 win against Britannia reserves thanks to Tom Harrison (2) Christian Petersen and Matthew Laisby.

Holker Old Boys A dropped points after a 2-2 draw away at Coniston, with Andrew Warne and Josh Glennon on target for the hosts. Tom Park and Conor Erdis replied for Holker.

Rovers A lost 3-2 at home to Haverigg United reserves, with Danny Munroe, Wink Birkett and James Tyson the match-winners. Woodburn and Robinson replied for Rovers, who had reserves assistant manager Natasha Pearson step in to referee and earn plaudits from both teams.

Barrow Wanderers reserves beat Millom St James 8-0 at Lesh Lane. Lewis Waterson (3), Jordan Wallace (3), James Watts and a debut goal for Danny Mackay made up the tally.

Simon Bassett’s double for Walney Island A gave them a 2-1 win over Ulverston Rangers reserves.
