CROOKLANDS Casuals will be the venue for the all-Furness area Challenge Cup semi-final next Saturday, the West Lancashire League have confirmed.
Dalton United and Furness Cavaliers will go head-to-head at Longlands Park at 3pm on Saturday, April 6 for a place in the decider – a match which could well see them taking on another of their Division Two local rivals.
Walney Island have already booked their place in the semis and will discover their opponents tomorrow, with Kendal County and Croston Sports facing each other in a quarter-final tie which was postponed due to recent wet weather.
Once their opponents are known, Walney will find out from the West Lancs League whereabouts their semi-final will be played as all last-four ties are held at neutral venues.
Walney and Cavs both face each other in Division Two tomorrow at Tummerhill in a potential preview for the final, while Dalton travel to bottom side Longridge Town reserves.
Vickerstown have the opportunity to leapfrog tomorrow's opponents Tempest United if they can win at Park Vale and continue their push for a top-five finish.
Millom are still on for a high finish in their first season back in Division One, but face a tough test tomorrow as they host title contenders Lytham Town.
Askam United go searching for their first win since November 24 away to Kendal County.
Tomorrow's West Lancashire League fixtures
Premier Division (3pm): Vickerstown v Tempest United.
Division One (3pm): Kendal County v Askam United, Millom v Lytham Town.
Division Two (3pm): Longridge Town res v Dalton United, Walney Island v Furness Cavaliers.
