BARROW Raiders will kick off day two of this year's Betfred Championship Summer Bash at 1pm, the RFL have confirmed.

The fixtures for the two-day event at Bloomfield Road in Blackpool on May 18 and 19 had already been set, but the clubs were waiting to find out the kick-off times.

Those have now been confirmed after Sky Sports announced they would again be broadcasting the Summer Bash live, with the Raiders facing Sheffield Eagles in the early afternoon on the Sunday.

That is followed by the Heavy Woollen Derby between Batley Bulldogs and Dewsbury Rams, with the clash between former Super League sides Leigh Centurions and Widnes Vikings bringing the Bash to a close.

There has been a re-jig of the fixtures for the Saturday as Championship top two Toronto Wolfpack and Toulouse Olympique will get proceedings under way at 1.15pm.

That is followed by a Rochdale Hornets versus Swinton Lions at 3.30pm, then two all-Yorkshire match-ups.

The first sees York City Knights taking on Featherstone Rovers at 5.45pm and Halifax going up against Bradford Bulls at 8pm.

"The Summer Bash in Blackpool has become established as a popular and enjoyable feature of the Betfred Championship season, and we reckon this year's could be the best yet," said RFL chief commercial officer Mark Foster.

"So we're delighted that Sky Sports will be with us again to show all the action from Bloomfield Road. It's great exposure for the Betfred Championship clubs, building on the weekly coverage of Toronto Wolfpack – and we're grateful to both Sky and to In Touch Productions for their continued commitment to covering Championship Rugby League.

"The chat around the game is that this is a really attractive set of fixtures which will showcase the quality of rugby we see every week in the Betfred Championship."
