HAVERIGG were unable to build on their first victory of the season in North Lancs and Cumbria Premier Division, as they fell to defeat at Workington.
Workington had first knock and were 0 for 1 in the first over, but 41 from Grant Reid and 38 from Kaushalya Gajasinghe set up the recovery as they put on 95 together.
Liam Hazzard, 40, and Matthew Young, 25, gave good support and Workington were all out for 195 in the last over. Haverigg pro Roy Kaia returned 7 for 42 in 12.4 overs.
Haverigg, who had beaten Lindal Moor a week earlier, will be disappointed with their reply, with wickets falling regularly. Kaia made 42 but the Villagers were all out for 104 in 26 overs. Gajasinghe took 3 for 27 in 8 overs.
